Our Story

From a frustration to 500K users

Back in 2019, our founder Marcus was recording a product demo and got fed up — laggy software, poor quality, no editing tools, clunky sharing. He knew there had to be a better way.

Exolus Node started as a side project and shipped its first beta in six months. By the end of 2020 it had 50,000 users. Today, half a million professionals rely on Exolus Node every single day.

We're still independent, still bootstrapped for our first two years, and still obsessed with making the best screen recorder in the world.
